In Conjunction with Petaling Jaya City Council 6th Year Anniversary CelebrationsHSBC has been the title sponsor of Asian Rugby Football Union (ARFU)’s “Asian Five Nations” tournaments since its inauguration in 2008 and is committed to supporting the growth of rugby at all levels in Asia.
Johor Rugby Carnival 2012

Johor Bahru - The eagerly anticipated Johor Rugby Carnival is back with twice the intensity and twice the fun. This year Johor will be treated to not only highly competitive international teams vying for glory, but also amped with a whole line up of entertainments ranging from artiste performances, carnivals, games and tons of activities to engage the whole family.There will be 12 international teams from Asian countries including Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Malaysia as the defending champion will participate in the ARFU 7’s Under 20 Rugby Tournament.
Apart from it, 64 teams will be participating in the Iskandar Malaysia 10’s Rugby Challenge for both Under 15 and Under 18 category. Top schools team from all over Malaysia such as SM Sains Selangor and Sekolah Sukan Tunku Mahkota Ismail had confirmed their participation this year.

[Kuala Lumpur, 7 Mei 2012] Mesyuarat Khas Ahli Majlis KRM pada 6hb Mei 2012, telah bersetuju menggantung En. Wan Ibrahim Bin Wan Chik, Pengurus Pasukan Ragbi Sekolah Sukan Tengku Mahkota Ismail (SSTMI) yang juga Ahli Majlis KRM (Pengarah Pembangunan KRM) atas kesalahan yang dilakukan semasa Kejohanan Ragbi Liga Super KRM 2012. Lanjutan dari itu, beliau dilarang terlibat dalam semua aktiviti sukan ragbi berkuatkuasa serta merta sehingga keputusan selanjutnya diambil oleh Lembaga Disiplin KRM.
Tindakan ini dibuat bedasarkan Perlembagaan KRM, Seksyen (9.3.6).
